Understanding Fourths
Learn that when we divide a whole into 4 equal parts, each part is called one fourth (or quarter), written as 1/4.

Unit Fractions Are Numbers
Solidify understanding that unit fractions (1/2, 1/3, 1/4) are numbers with specific locations on the number line, not just 'pieces.'

Partitioning the Number Line
Learn to partition the number line into equal parts to locate fractions precisely.

Non-Unit Fractions (2/3, 3/4, 2/4)
Understand fractions where the numerator is greater than 1, building from unit fraction understanding.
